Romanian Eggplant Spread

2 medium eggplants, peeled
2 medium onions, chopped
1 teaspoon oil
1/4 teaspoon salt
10 slices white bread

Preheat the oven to 325 degrees. Wrap the eggplants in aluminum foil. Bake until soft, about 1 hour. Chop the eggplants, they will look green, and add the onions, oil and salt. Mix well. Put on the slices of white bread and serve.
